2009 Dodge Challenger Video

In its second year as Chrysler’s spot-on-styled retro muscle car, the Challenger finally adds a manual transmission to complete the true muscle car experience. Cars.com’s David Thomas takes you through the 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 in this video review and shows you this hot rod isn’t just fast – it has some practicality as well.

Brilliant! That's a fine piece of film right there ;)

Still waiting.

The stick was also to be available on the V6, I'm still waiting.

BTW, To get the stick you have to pay $1000 over the standard automatic, plus another couple of hundred in required options. No improvement on fuel drinking.

I just picked up one of these this last Friday, it is an absolute blast. The manual is part of a package that is $695 (also gives you a 3.92 rear-end amoung some other things in the TrakPack). With the manual however, you also get a $400 credit on the Gas Guzzler tax (has the skip-shift if you drive like a ninnie) so in theory, you get better gas mileage. So the TrakPack actually cost $295 and I found many out there that were not optioned out (the only options mine has is the manual and the Goodyear F1 Supercar 3-Season tires).
