Toyota Incentives Released

CamrybadgeToyota makes it a little harder for consumers to find out what incentives are available because it doesn’t advertise national deals, nor does it have a simple site that breaks down offers by region. The company did, however, release new incentives today.

We used a variety of zips for California, Florida, Illinois and New York and found up to $1,500 off the 2009 Camry and Camry Hybrid, $2,000 off the 2009 Corolla, $1,250 off a 2009 Matrix and $1,000 off the 2009 Yaris and Prius. More was available on trucks and SUVs, and all deals run through May 4.

Go to Toyota’s consumer site to enter your zip code and see what incentives are available in your area.

Hmmm, nothing on the Venza...too new, or actually in demand?

No discounts I could find. It is selling well and is new...plenty of $ on the Highlander though.

Sean

The 2009 Highlander incentives are really pretty weak; I'm near Glenwood Springs, CO. We've been pricing one out for a Corporate Vehicle and are actually waiting for a potential financing incentive to begin on May 5th, as this one closing on May 4th isn't anything to catch one's eye. Any word on the May 5th incentives?

Bill

The reason for the "weak" incentives on the Highlander is because they are selling so well right now that they don't necessarily need to have a better incentive. Also they aren't allocating anymore Highlanders to dealers in most areas so what they have is what is available for the next few months. I imagine the May incentives for the Highlander is going to be lower or gone all together. Same with any leftover 08 models (FJ Cruiser, Sequoia, Tundra.) Expect the incentives on 09 Siennas to drop dramatically. The $1000 rebate OR 1.9% APR for 60 months in my region has reduced our Sienna inventory by nearly 75%. As for the Venza... they're selling right now but certainly not as well as one would expect given the reviews and "stand alone" perception Toyota has given consumers about this _______ (not a car, not a crossover, not an SUV). I'm predicting a $750-$1000 rebate for the month of May with typical incentivize rates of 2.9% for 36, 3.9% for 48 and 4.9% for 60.
