2010 Chevy Camaro Officially On Sale; New Photos Out

Chevrolet announced that the 2010 Camaro is now officially on sale; Kelsey Mays is out driving the car as we type for a full review. GM is keeping our — and every other publications’ — impressions of the car under wraps until Friday at 5 p.m. EST. That makes us assume consumers will buy and drive their new Camaro before any reviews have been written.

Well, it’s likely those buyers ordered their Camaros long ago, anyway.

If you’re interested in learning more about the new Camaro, check our Camaro news page and don’t forget to come back Friday. For now, check out a ton of new photos released by GM, below.

Already saw a couple of them since like a month ago.
Maybe they were dealer cars.

Fred

Great looking car but GM missed the mark on the HVAC controls.

YOING

Wow, the most overhyped car for the 20th century finally makes it's debut in the flesh, 4 years later. And it still looks like a cartoon.

What is with the cheap interior? Those guage pods are beyond ugly and the guages on the console are poorly placed, taking your eyes off the road. Why couldn't they just add the Heads up thingamajiggy that they've had on GM vehicles since the 90's?

Gentlemen, start your mullets.

It's the 21st century, buddy. And it's been a little over 3 years from the debut of the concept car to start of production...quite a remarkable feat in the automotive world.

Belly

H, now please be respectful of YOING's comment. There is no need to address him as your "buddy."

I think the outside structure of the car is kick-a$$, except for the grill. The interior just isn't there. Maybe it would look better in person.

I am truly impressed by the mileage of V-6 version.

cars like this are bought for their appeal, if people start picking it apart for every stupid little reason then theres no need to buy it. muscle cars, or pony cars, in this case arent built for user friendliness, their built for fun and/or speed. Long story short, dont like it, dont buy it.

Is the interior of this car worse than the Genesis coupe or Z? No. This is not a Lexus or a Jag. This is a sports coupe that starts at $23k. Do not expect an Audi like interior. The interior has style and looks like nothing else on the road now. Thats a plus in my book.

Belly

The interior is probably one of the ugliest ones in GM's lineup. It is typical GM after what looked like genuine improvement in the Malibu, G8, and many Buicks. Is the interior as good as that in the Z or the Genesis? The materials - I can't tell; the look - it's not even close with the Z, the Genesis looks better but not by much. Expecting Audi, no, expecting at least comparable to the recent GTO, yes. Mustang also looks much better.

The car looks great but the dashboard sucks! I could never like driving it while looking at that. Why does G.M. always do stupid things like this?

some guy

cant wait to get mine. looks good. all those guys bringing up z cars and that joke called a genesis go somewhere else. those cars fun to drive as a minivan.v8s will always be more enjoyable to drive.

the camaro looks awesome, i love the interior it is very futuristic looking but yet very classic looking, i think the camaro looks much nicer then the mustang in every way. i cant wait to see one in person.
