Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Sports Awesomest Grille Ever

PickupTrucks.com has broken the dam of information regarding Ford’s latest super-truck. It’s an offroad racing version of the all-new 2009 Ford F-150, and it’s named Raptor. If that doesn’t sound cool enough for you, just check out this thing’s grille.

I don't really care for the standard grille on the new F-150. I do like the optional body color grille though.

My mistake, the body color grille is on the lower models.

The current grille on the '09 F-150 is OK, but the Raptor grille is GREAT! Ford needs to put this grille on ALL of its trucks RIGHT NOW!

Bwaa Haa Haa! You guys aren't serious, are you? Looks like its right out of the JC Whitney catalog. I assume an overdone, matching tail panel is out back, too.

This could be the coolest factory truck that any of the "Big 3" has ever built regardless if it's around for a couple years or decades. Nobody has done anything like this for a production truck ever aside from a few one-off concept trucks for SEMA. If this lives up to the hype that Ford is promising, this is going to be one bad-ass truck!! I hope they offer some engine performance(intake/exhaust) upgrades at least for the stock 5.4L V8. It would also be cool if it had a more stripped down racey interior with racing style seats with five-point harnesses and maybe a 6spd manual with a hurst shifter?? Off-road trucks aren't supposed to look like "Lariats" on the interior. They should be all business without luxury b.s.!! If people don't like it.....tough!!

This has to be the ugliest grille ever. The new F-150 grille has some decent class to it, even on the base trim level XL.

I want to get a truck when I graduate college, but if they put this grille on all F-150s, I will not be buying one of them.

By using this grill, Ford is saying that it's heritage blue oval doesn't amount to a hill of beans.

Go back to using the giant "Ford" on the tailgates.

I can't believe anyone would call this the ugliest grill ever... seriously! Come out of your shell a little. This is a sign that the designers are working to find a new look for a new truck. I think it works for this truck concept better than a factory standard issue design. Granted, I wouldn't expect everyone to love it, but I like the variety.
