Cars.com Spots New Chevy Camaro

Senior editor Joe Wiesenfelder was getting lost on his way back to Chicago from Detroit when he spotted this bright blue 2010 Chevy Camaro RS at a gas station, months before it officially goes on sale. “It actually looked really good,” he said of the car he snapped a few pictures of with his Blackberry before it roared off. “It stood out enough at a glance that you knew what it was.”

And was he the only one taking notice?

“I didn’t notice anyone else rubbernecking.” That’s not a good sign. Of course, around Detroit it might be common to see a bright blue Camaro rolling down the street. Check out some more images below.

Can you post the photos in a higher resolution?

Nice to see it out on the road. It looks great compared to all of the bulbous clones on the road. Too bad GM is in dire straights. GM's financial position may sink it before it ever leaves port.

Sorry these were taken with a Blackberry, so this is the best we could do with them.

Thanks Dave. These are better than nothing. Tell Joe to go find one in Cyber Gray and one in Imperial Blue Metallic.

I saw one at the mall last night. It looked nice.

Nice catch Joe!

Even if you don't pay much attention to cars, you know it's a Camaro because it's got the look like it carries the genes of the original '67. I like it ... except for those MONSTROUS gaps in the body panels, especially the hood.

My wife's first impression of the new Camaro was "It looks like a Mustang".
