2009 Honda Element Priced at $20,175

09element

Honda announced that the restyled 2009 Element will go on sale today with a starting price of $20,175, excluding a $670 destination charge. The base model comes standard with a five-speed automatic, unlike last year’s, which came with a manual for $18,980. The price bump from a 2008 LX with the automatic is less than $500.

To the casual observer, there are no major design changes for the 2009 versions, although there is a new front grille and bumper design, as well as altered headlights.

The Element will come in three trims, the most basic being the 2WD LX. Upgrading to the EX or SC will have a noticeable benefit in the form of an optional navigation system, which wasn’t offered on the Element before. The nav system includes voice activation, a rearview camera and a USB port for media players. Full pricing is listed below.

  • Element 2WD LX — $20,175
  • Element 2WD EX — $22,285
  • Element 2WD EX with Nav — $23,985
  • Element 2WD SC — $23,170
  • Element 2WD SC with Nav — $25,670
  • Element 4WD LX — $21,375
  • Element 4WD EX — $22,685
  • Element 4WD EX with Nav — $25,185

Destination $670

I never liked this car. I see people drive it but sorry. This is single student's car

This looks like a mini version of the current Pilot, which I hate the style.

For outgoing gen-y. Easy to clean floor.

I own one of these and I love it. But I'm not the average SUV buyer, I'm an avid hiker, biker, and actually use the interior space and AWD. Perfect car for the weekend athlete.

I love the Element, it dirves nicely and has amazing storage. This new Pilot-like front end gets a big thumbs down from me though.

Are all Elements automatics now? If so, thats a shame.

Liger,
You can get a manual on the SC

Dave T, 4WD EX has manual as well

By looking at the Honda website it looks as though they have discontinued the rear sunroof. Also to get the Ipod integration you need to get the model with the navigation system. The EX has an aux output that you can use for an mp3. Not an option on the LX.

I disagree with the comment that this is a single student's car... we are parents and pet owners and it is SO practical. Easy cleanup for drink/food spills and muddy footprints... AND there is so much space on the interior that I can actually stand in the backseat area on a rainy day to buckle my son into his carseat!! Not to mention the versatility of the cargo area for long trips...

and schutt amid many people. They may be out there in several sizes that you just can choose from in order to get the one that comfortably matches the head. It is best to know the dimensions of this mind by measuring the circumference within your start over the ears then use charts that are attainable on the net to find out the dimensions of this face. They may be categorized into further little, modest, medium, good sized and further large amongst people.
