The Sportage is still a better drive than the Equinox or Pontiac Torrent (especially the ones with the 3.4 Chinese boat-anchor), but otherwise it's ready for a redesign IMO.

How can anyone say the Kia Sportage is better than the Pontiac Torrent or Chevy Equinox? I test drove both the Sportage and the Torrent before making my decision and the Torrent wins hands down. The Sportage has no power, uncomfortable seats, rough shifting transmission and a horrible suspension system that offers a very rough and bumpy ride. I ended up parking it by the Pontiac Dealership while I checked out the Torrent, which I'm happy to say is sitting in my driveway now.
