2010 Ford Mustang Close-Up Images

Mustang270

Ford is getting as much press out of its redesigned Mustang as it can in advance of the car’s full reveal at November’s Los Angeles auto show. Today, the company released close-up shots of the production car — looks like a convertible, too — for the first time.

What do we learn from the images below? Not much. But the new wheels look nice.

I hope the interior is much improved, since the 2005-2009 Mustangs had a pretty crappy interior. But the outside looks like that orange Mustang concept from 2007.

Looks like it is just going to be an evolutionary redesign, it might end up looking much like the Camaro. The gauges look to have huge silver plastic pieces in them. I think of the pre-2009 Sonata's gauges when I mention this and those looked very ugly. Hopefully the interior (when fully revealed) will all go together and have a great look.

I doubt to the non-car person the redesign will be that noticeable at all.

What's with those teaser images?

Oooo-Aaaah hurry Ford.... How much has really changed?

A Mustang is a Mustang (1980's) (1990's) lets face it a Mustang must remain a Mustang not the route of the T-Bird (R.I.P.) the Mustang must remain an economical sporty car, that will attract the low economic and upper economic scales with basic power plants to the vette killer plants, Mustang has a legend to live up to and it's about time it does so.

Very nice overall, but why are they going to the same style headlights as the Camaro and the Challenger? The front end, especially on the Pony model, already looked great (except for the tacky extra lamps on the GT). Why try to be a Chevy/Mopar wannabe frontend?

You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig...or something like that?

You're a sexist!
