2008 Audi Q7 Named Top Safety Pick

Audiq7crash

The Audi Q7 earned a Top Safety Pick designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. This is the group’s highest rating, meaning the Q7 received top scores in front, side and rear crash tests.

IIHS considers the Q7 a large SUV and routinely does not rate vehicles in that class. However, IIHS conducted the tests at the request of Audi, who we guess wanted to see if it measured up to what IIHS considers midsize SUVs — cars like the Acura MDX, BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz M-Class, Volvo XC90 and Lincoln MKX, all of which are also Top Safety Picks.

good for Audi!

Audi gambled with their request and won. Proof of the pudding is in the eating!
