College Drivers Sound Off


Ah, college: Those heady years when the promise of youth overrides any concerns about unsanitary living conditions or poor dietary and sleep habits. Even so, college kids have the same concerns as real people, and obviously some of those concerns are automotive in nature. With this in mind, we had our prized summer interns delve into advice for today's college driver. This includes what to do when you get pulled over by the cops, how to avoid getting ripped off when buying a new or used car, and how you can earn some extra gas money. Finally, they give us a look at how one university is tackling the challenges this generation of drivers will face by building fuel-efficient alternatives to today's cars.
