Is this just the offset for driving the vehicle or does it take into account manufacturing impact?

Ralphie,
OUR offsets are strictly for the mileage we put on each car. I don't think any of the carbon offsetting organizations are taking into account manufacturing impact.

For mileage there is a very simple formula to use for each vehicle, so I think that's easiest for drivers who want to offset the emissions they produce. I would have to think the manufacturers would be the only ones to know the true cost of the manufacturing process for each car although there are groups who try to figure it out.

carbon footprint= load of crap.
we all know that limiting carbon will make no measureable improvement in "global warming". there is no such thing, there is climate change, its called the earth going through its cycles!!!!!!!!
