Pickup trucks seem to have fewer styling variables than the average sedan or SUV, don’t they? Think again. When automakers unleash their concept trucks, they stretch their imaginations in every direction. As PickupTrucks.com points out, this is not always a good thing. From atrocities with beds that look like playpens to underwater scuba pickups, these designs warrant a look simply for how awful they truly are.

They do look like hell. But maybe they have something cool to offer. We just have to see. And maybe test drive?

Oddly enough I liked the Chevy Borrego and I'd argue that Chevy could have used a small pickup/runabout in it's line up. It would have been a better use of blatent theft of Subaru hardware than the Saabaru. I mean, Subaru doesn't offer a two seater or a pickup. So there would be no cross shopping.

And I've always belived the Dodge Maxxcab directly predicted the Magnum's front end.
