In addition to a 3-by-2 inch faceplate with a small LCD display, the device also has a USB charging jack, an audio-in jack, and streaming capability for music from Bluetooth-capable devices.
There are a lot of advantages to this, especially because the adapter can be swapped from car to car, or taken on business trips or vacations when you have to use a rental, and it’s compact enough to be removed and hidden when you leave your car.
In its review, TechnoRide reports that the only downside is that sound quality suffers when compared to more expensive built-in systems, and the screen may be difficult to read for older drivers.

FYI, the iphone does NOT have A2DP, which basicly means that it is not capable of streaming music through Bluetooth connections.
