Gas Drops Two Days in a Row, Still Over $4

Highgasprices

You know gas prices are a major news story when major media starts reporting on two continuous days of dropping gas prices. In the past two days, gas has dropped nationally from $4.080 to $4.078 yesterday, down to $4.075 today.

Yeah, we’re not jumping for joy at the news either. There is no concrete reason for the dip, but it’s the first time in six weeks that the price has dropped two consecutive days. Gas is still 7.4% higher than it was a month ago.

remember that whoever has his hand on the tap, controls the flow and price. the reason there arent any reasons for gas prices to drop or rise, is becuase "THEY" DON'T NEED A REASON!! the only reason they have is to line their own pockets. and in case your wondering who "they" are? "they" are the oil companies big wigs, and any one that has a controlling stock in the production of oil.

Chris

Big Oil? I love it when simple people simplify topics in order to comprehend them. Exxon is the biggest of the 'big oil' in the United States and they supply only 1.8% of the global market.

The bottom line is it is all about supply and demand. Most people don't even know that Canada supplies more oil than OPEC.

Your politicians have failed you miserably through lack of leadership. Less drilling + Heavy Regulations on Building New Refineries = >$4.00 gallon gas.

I have made a bundle of money on investing in Energy Co's in the past four years. I guess you can say I was 'shorting' the lack of US Government leadership.

I win. Enjoy

first, i wasnt singling out any "one" company, so you are dumb. two, you basically said in your comments the same thing that i said.
"Your politicians have failed you miserably through lack of leadership. Less drilling + Heavy Regulations on Building New Refineries = >$4.00 gallon gas" = anyone that has a controlling interest in oil. so there.
