TV Coming to Your Car

Tvcar

In an effort to make sure Americans never go a moment without access to television, USTelemetics has developed a system that uses WiMax wireless internet to bring TV channels into your car while it's on the move.

While companies like Sirius have bet on satellite technology to conquer this last great hurdle of civilization, USTelemetics wants its new Voyager entertainment system to run over the internet and supply passengers with streaming television. The system will also integrate important diagnostic information, typical GPS and safety features.

Aside from the obvious questions of driver distraction — depending on the location of the screen — we wonder if car television won't completely sink the "Connect Four: Travel Version" industry that has kept squabbling siblings happy on long road trips for generations.
