Cars.com Reviews the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8

Challengersrt8review

This might be the first review Cars.com has ever run of a car that is completely sold out. If you haven’t already put down money on a 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8, you probably won’t be able to find one – without a huge markup, anyway. Still, senior editor Joe Wiesenfelder’s review is a great read right from the start, and the car will remain virtually unchanged for 2009. And yes, you can sign up for a 2009 now and expect delivery in the fall.

I'll say it again. The exterior of this car is kickass. Interior is the same as Jeep, Chrysler, and Dodge vehicles. They could't come up with anything better then this. Way over priced as well. For that money I can go buy a real Challenger from back in the day. With gas prices this car will be a gone in a few years.

Not unless they change their mind and offer the 6 speed with the small V6 and get 30mpg. I'm out.

The hemi 300's are sticking in the lots now and I feel that they are going to be stuck with a bunch of the 2009 preorders if gas stays at $4.
Especially if they continue with the over sticker gouging with the guzzler tax. The way things are going the 5.7 may be guzzler taxed soon even with the fuel saver.

Overpriced, overweighted, overhyped.

Nah, it's just too cool for you.
