Emily Hansen could have called roadside assistance when she realized she had a flat tire the other morning, but where would the educational opportunity be in that? Instead, she put together the full package: Detailed instructions on how to handle that minor vehicular emergency, not to mention a beautiful slate of photographs outlining each step. Check out this practical post from Emily on MotherProof.

The other Dan

I'll never forget the story about the MAN on the highway in NYC with the flat on his late 60's Cadillac. Obviously ignorant as to how to change a flat-this is when the jack hook grabbed the bumper when a bumper was a bumper- but he hooked it at the top of the wheel well above the inflicted tire and proceeded to bend the hell out of the sheet metal! Now imagine his dismay at not being able to remove the tire due to the position of the jack. AAA must have had a laugh over this one.
