Question of the Day: Which SUVs or minivans have easy access to the third row?

Askktpromobutton

Our questioner today is looking for a SUV or minivan with a second row that doesn’t need to be folded or moved in order to reach the third row. Why? Baby seats, that’s why. Those baby seats can be difficult to remove and install every time someone needs to get into the third row. To save time and effort, we listed SUVs and minivans with captain’s chair seating as well as two models with a unique second-row feature that should do the trick.

Daniel

We just purchased a 2008 Ford Expedition because we felt it was the easiest to access the 3rd row when compared to tahoe/yukon and Armada. We purchased with 2nd row captains chairs for this reason. There is enough room between 1st and second row and between seats in second row for an adult to access the 3rd row without having to raise seats. My uncle is 6'2" and commented that it was very easy and comfortable to mover around back there. With regard to armada, it would be very easy to access the third row if they would remove the console in the second row. Nissan says it is removable, but all of the dealerships I have been to don't know what I am talking about. Just my $.02.
