New Car Tracker: 3.27.08

Newcartrackerx6

With the New York auto show winding down this weekend, we have a lot more information on future production vehicles and when you’ll be able to buy them. Because of the New York show’s timing, a lot of the cars that debuted won’t be available for some time. It seems automakers just wanted to show off their goods well in advance. Check out the list below. If you're interested in something not on there, mention it in the comments below and we’ll see what we can find out.

FYI, Patrick BMW in Schaumburg has a 135i coupe sitting out in front. I would have asked to test drive it, but it was freezing rain / snow / yuck yesterday. Oh winter, when will you go away?

Why won't Mercedes bring the A-Class to the U.S.? This is one nice car!

When is the new Lexus RX coming out?

Ziggy and Ant,
Neither of those cars has been officially announced. The A Class most likely will not come to the U.S. because of the weak dollar and other reasons.

the next RX I would "guess" would be displayed on the next auto show season at some point. Maybe L.A. in November.

How come Mercedez haven't use the "Start" button on their lineups? I mean the competitors are all using the "Start" button on their lineup.
