Cars.com Reviews the 2008 Ford Fusion

Fusion

In its third year on the market, the 2008 Ford Fusion still satisfies expert reviewer Kelsey Mays. While it may not be top dog in the family sedan segment, he says its low sticker price makes it a bargain for its category. Good handling and neat, "athletic" design go a long way toward helping the Fusion earn Kelsey's recommendation. Read his full review on Cars.com.

Enjoyed reaidn your review and agree with you on all aspects except mileage. I own an 06 Milan with the same drivetrain and make regular road trips and it easily returns 32mpt going 70-75? I wonder why the difference?

Dan

225/45 18 tires vs 205/60 16 tires?
Inflation pressure?

Too many Dans on this site. Perhaps I should change my tag? :)

Never thought of that? could be the reason!

Thanks Dan

I find the Fusion to be like many of Ford's products - a lot of potential, but ultimately lame. I've had the Fusion and Milan as rentals more times than I care to remember. The 4 cylinder Fusion is abysmal to say the least as it has more NHV than my lawn tractor. The 6 cylinder Milan is ok, however the interior quality is below par when compared to other rentals I've had, namely the VW Passat. Ford has some good concepts but they always fall short of fully excuting them. I can think of many other cars that would be better buys than a Ford Fusion.
