What’s your dream car? (Ask.cars.com)

Comments

My dream car an AUDI S8, the perfect blend of cylinders, aluminum and leather.

If anyone cares:

1987 Buick Grand National GNX

Hyundai Elantra Touring ;)

Honda Element.

2002 toyota corrolla!

My DREAM dream car is a Lamborghini Murcielago.

My more realistic dream car is a Grand Cherokee SRT8. We'll be looking for a nice used one in a year or so.

Heck, am I the only odd ball?
Tesla Roadster in white.

My dream car would have to be a wagon big enough to carry 4x8 sheets of construction material without having to leave anything open. The powertrain would be a positron reactor generating power to a pair of 900hp electric motors (one driving the front wheels; the other driving the rear), and a manual transmission. The design could be handled by Audi or Aston Martin and the chassis and suspension engineering could be done by Mclaren. I'd need a purple anodized aluminum body and some matte black aluminum wheels. I want a 0-60 time under 2 seconds, and the ability to pull at least 2.8 lateral g's while cornering.

Mazada 2. Make it happen, Mazada.

BMW X6 in silver

Mazdaspeed6 Grand Touring. only 3 or 4 left in the Greater Boston area. i need a donation!

1967 Lincoln Continental 4 door convertible.

I have 2:

Nissan Rogue & BMW Z4 coupe

Clean sheet:

Small displacement, supercharged, V-6 (with VDC), RWD, Manual 6 speed or Semi-Automatic, double wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear. Compact, with seats for four and a hatchback. Svelte looks (Italian?) but NOT A BMW! Low curb weight, around 15-14 lbs./hp. Top quality materials in the interior but no electronic overkill. (But I will take an 8-way adjustable seat!) Price low 20's.

What to throw into the blender:

Corvette suspension and rear mounted gearbox.
Honda's V-6 downsized 30% and supercharged
Toyota AE86 (RWD corrolla) it's tidy proportions.
Mini for it's interior.
Alpha Romeo 186 for exterior style.
Lexus SC for the seats.

Infosaur,
I hope you are serious when mentioning the 86.
It's just a compact car riding on a truck chassis with outdated suspension and brakes. Heck, there isn't even power steering.
It is being idolized by the manga.

J,

Only for it's tidy proportions, If you added all the other stuff from my wish list it would pretty much negate all those negatives you listed.

Then why not the SW20?

Infosaur - sounds like you need a modern-day Mazda MX3 - 2.0 V6, sporty, and (for its day) great looks. That little V6 was a peach, too...

I guess I can answer this for Infosaur. The MX-3 is a FF.
Why does Infosaur want a 86 not 92? Especially he has mentioned about the 86 is a FR.
