Please do a review on the Ford Flex! We are looking for a new car with a third row seat that is actually big enough for teenagers and I really don't want to buy a full size suv or minivan if I can avoid it! Flex looks interesting but I haven't been able to find any reviews, just company info which of course makes it sound like it'll do everything plus the dishes for me. Please review this vehicle!

Katy,
The Flex is still a good 4-6 months from going on sale. We won't be able to review one until much closer to the on sale date. HOWEVER, rest assured we will be covering its release extensively with reviews, videos and more.

Hyundai press release says the Elantra Touring is going on sale WINTER 2008! Does this mean before spring (ie now), or after fall at the end of the year?

Will the VW Jetta SportWagen be eventually available with the 2.0 TDI and when? Will the VW Rabbit be eventually availabel with the 2.0 TDI and when?

jt,
Our buddies at Autoblog got it right. I've changed the post. The Elantra touring will indeed be a "Late 2008" entry.

George,
The Sportswagen IS coming as a TDI diesel in late 2008 after the sedan goes on sale.

There are no plans for the Rabbit to go diesel at this point. Check out Joe Wiesenfelder's in-depth diesel story here:

Shouldn't the dates for the new Acuras read '2008'?

They forgot Mitsu Outlander 4cyl - first time this year.

LS
Yes those are 2008s. They've been corrected. Thanks.

I would love to hear more about the Dodge Journey! I really like the contemporary look with the crosshair grille, some of the cars out right now have a much softer look and that isn't really my style! The pricing of this vehicle is also quite attractive to me!

GloriaJ,
We'll be reviewing the new Dodge Journey in a few weeks.
