Today on Mother Proof: Tesla Roadster Up Close

Motherprooflogo130

Okay, so maybe it costs just shy of $100,000, but the new Tesla Roadster still excites Mother Proof’s Courtney Messenbaugh. An electric car that can drive 245 miles on a single charge, the Roadster may not be affordable or family-friendly, but hey, George Clooney and Matt Damon are both getting one. You may not have Clooney’s looks or Damon’s money (and looks), but at least you can read Courtney’s impressions as she reports back from her test drive.

Not really a Test Drive, is it? Especially since it reads like Courtney hasn't even seen one up close and in person, let alone sat in the driver's seat. More of an analysis and commentary piece.

Too true Tony C too true.
We changed the headline accordingly. Thanks.

Clooney's looks seem to be fading fast these days - now I guess he'll have to rely on his
non-existent charm and equally non-existent intelligence. And no one has yet figured out yet why anyone wants to pay Damon millions to do anything. A less talented Hollywood "personality" would be hard to find,
although Tom Hanks might give him some competition. When they figure out what to do after that 245 miles (sure, run the A/C hard and drive up some hills and they'll be lucky to get 200 miles of range). I suppose their chauffered gas guzzling limo will follow them
on their "trips."

So when will the Tesla finally come out?

I've never seen one up close even I am in Motown.

Dave,
I don't know if you would care or not, but it seems like some people are using the blog to post spams and ads.

Thanks J
Taken care of.

"Mother Proof" needs to become "Mother Poof" and go away. Have that guy Dave post additional articles about cars instead of this crap wasting space. Cars.com loses credibility with it. Keep it up and you might as well rename this site MetrosexualCars.com

I don't understand what's the hate about Mother Proof.
How does cars.com lose credibility by this is a mystery that needs to be figured out.

Like I've always said, keep up the good work, ladies. Your entries are always good as always in providing different view on the very same vehicle.
