I'm a rural mail carrier and put 145,000 trouble free miles on my '03 Tucson. I just picked up a left-over '07 and must say Hyundai makes a high quality car. Previous to buying a Hyundai (which took a lot of consideration) I had the typical trans issues with my Escape. Having a trans fail at 63,000 miles is totally unacceptable in my book, but unfortunately Ford thought it was not only acceptable but normal. That springboarded me to Hyundai and their 10/100k warranty. I didn't think I would end up with a trouble free car, but I must say I really like it.

Ford thought it was not only acceptable but normal.
NORMAL? Are they serious about that?

add this to the reason why they (Ford) fell behind Toyota.
