This is the first year the EPA is using revised testing procedures that will supposedly determine a vehicle’s gas mileage more accurately. Cars.com has done some mileage testing and found that the new ratings are indeed very accurate. Ask.cars.com points you in the direction of our road trip experiment, as well as a list of the 2008 cars with the best mileage by vehicle class.
