Big Photo of Production Camaro Released
We saw a small version of the photo above last week, but now General Motors has released a higher-resolution version for us to digest. This makes us believe the company will debut the production version of this highly anticipated next-generation Chevrolet Camaro at next week’s Detroit auto show. The company has said it will begin road-testing the Camaro in the U.S. and wants people to photograph it as much as possible. Click here to download the full photo or here for a 1280x1024 wallpaper size.

Gone are the T-tops and replaced with a conventional and boring sunroof. *sigh*
Still looks like a 1973 Toyota Celica...
Looks like GM still hasn't discovered how to paint the Onstar/XM antenna.
WHITE????! Who can see any lines in WHITE??? I like the fact one of the most buzzworthy cars of the year is in the most boring colors ever made. It reflects nothing....or maybe it does.
You retards that are complaining need to get some brains or don't comment on something you obviously don't know anything about.
It's a pre production car, idiots. "GM has learned how to paint the On-Star antenna." Moron.
The internet is full of 5 year olds.
T tops are out. Quit living in the 80's. I do agree with the colour. White on a pre production show car. Not a good choice. As far as painting the on star attenna. The jury is out on that one. I could see GM not painting it as it is added to the vehicle after the body has been painted. So quit insulting peoples intelligance.
Otherwise this car could be big hit for GM.
yeah aww yeah,
the white color for this photo was clearly on purpose for just the reasons you state.
wow you guys are really hating on GM. The car is beautiful and is sure to be a hit when it comes out, it seems to be similar to the camaro they gave for the transformers movie and that is a plus. seriously who cares about the color of an antenna and are u guys guna cry because the first viewing of the car is not in some radical color??
here at the cars.com offices we're wondering where the line for the trunk is against the rear glass?
Clamshell?
For some reason, it kind of resemble the Challenger in disguise I just saw when I was coming home from class.
Now, i wonder what the reaction would be if this was some Honda or Toyota....
Its a pony car people, built for the average person to buy, without all the uber-electronics.
GM makes me laugh. Outside of Chrysler they have to be the worst run car company for the past five years running. Let me get this straight, they want people to notice it but they only release this picture and the car is in white. No wonder Toyota execs always wear a grin.
It’s a very nice car and will do GM very well in the marketplace when it becomes available. Actually, I’m glad they showed it in white. I remember some of you were talking about where the rear fender vents were, but as you clearly see, it’s still there. The door handles are body colored, and I’m hoping the antenna will be body colored as well. As for the trunk being clamshell style??? I think not, just like the original, I’m sure it’ll be a regular good ol’ boxed trunk. See, the white color and side body shot from the next lane got some of you talking, and that’s good for an upcoming vehicle. Remember, the Camaro is not competing against Porsches and other high priced, high featured sport cars. It’s priced lower and will not handle like an exotic, but might outrun some (with the proper set-up) in a straight line drag race.
Rob,
This is a teaser not the full monte so to speak and they've got everyone talking about it so I don't really see your point.
GM's CEO is also the cover story in Forbes about his turnaround of the company. You might want to read it.
Why are you guys just criticizing GM for not painting the XM antenna?
Just got pass by an A3, it too, didn't have it painted.
THIS IS A PRE-PRODUCTION TEST CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!
QUIT SAYING THIS IS PRODUCTION!!!!!!!! THIS IS NOT THE FINAL DESIGN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they haven't even picked the interior design yet! quit whining about it! wait till you see it on the showroom floor and then do your useless judging, this will be a hot selling vehicle because its not retro, just hints of it, unlike the competition!
Thanks for the wallpaper sized version and all, but uh, I think I'll pass. Doesn't really look good to me, and the charger and mustang blow it away in my opinion.
so if you look real close it looks like the driver is sporting an awesome mullet.
I saw one website with all different kinds of design templates. It’s a stock photography site but has vector art and illustrations. Just use those keywords to narrow your search, and then use the great visual search tools to quickly find what you want.
