Mitsubishi Concept-RA Coming to Detroit
Forty-seven days and counting, and we can’t get enough news about the upcoming Detroit auto show. Today, Mitsubishi revealed two sketches — the second is below — of the Concept-RA it will debut at Cobo Hall in Detroit.
We’re not exactly sure why Mitsubishi is revealing a new coupe concept, but perhaps it is a precursor to the next Eclipse. The Concept-RA will feature a clean-diesel engine along with the all-wheel-drive drivetrain and dual clutch transmission from the new Mitsubishi Evo. A few years after its release, we’re still not sold on the Eclipse’s looks. What do you think? Already time for a change?

Dont like the looks of Evo X but this car is stunning! If its goes to production with EVO specs i will be the first one to buy!

If only concepts made it through the way the started out. I can't wait to see how this one is worked to the middle.
It looks a little F1 in the front and a bit Cayman in back. Sprinkle in some Z on the windshield, toss in some Hyundai on the relevance and you have the new Eclipse.

Yes! The return of the GSX, all wheel drive with a turbo...please make it a six speed manual...all other cars, just as it was PRE 1999, the Eclipse ruled the class...if they make this, truly, the bar will be raised and all the RSX's, Celica (and the gross gross Scion), will have to move aside.

its about time... for too long we've been stuck with overweight FWD gas monger Eclipses. The turbo/AWD return could definatley boost sales, and the fact that it's cleaner diesel doesn't hurt either. So long as it's offered with a manual
