Eliminate Car Static Electricity

Staticeliminator

There are some simple ways to avoid getting shocked when leaving your car this winter. For one, you can hold on to a piece of the metal exterior before getting out of the car. Or you could spend $9.99 on this keyfob that discharges the static electricity you build up. It even has a smiley face indicator telling you when you’re static free.

Now, there have been instances of people catching fire at gas stations because of a static spark, so this post will at least serve as a friendly reminder that cold weather brings more chances of static electricity. Remember, stay grounded.
