XM Now Standard on all 2008 Buicks, Hummers, Saabs

2008saab93

GM has already made XM Satellite Radio standard on all Cadillac models, and now it’s adding it to other premium brands, including Buick, Hummer and Saab. All new 2008 models will get XM equipment standard, along with a free three-month trial subscription. Subscription rates start around $12 per month, but if a proposed XM/Sirius merger goes through there will be more affordable options starting around $8 a month.

XM is also standard in these models: the all-new 2008 Chevrolet Malibu, Silverado, Tahoe, Cobalt, Corvette and Impala; Saturn Vue, Outlook, Aura and Sky; GMC Acadia, Yukon and Sierra; and the Pontiac G5 and Solstice, among others.

XM sucks! Sirius RULES! I do not think the merger will go through. Sirius may the smallest for now, but th have the best programming. Not to mention the Sirius audio quality seems to be much better.
