Recall Alert: 2007-08 Chrysler Sebring, Dodge Avenger
No, this isn’t an update of last week’s recall. Chrysler is recalling 102,042 2007-08 model year Chrysler Sebring and 2008 Dodge Avenger sedans with 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines for potentially faulty cooling fan motors. The connectors in the motor could lead to fires; there have been reported incidents, but no accidents or injuries.
This news comes on the heels of two other recent recalls by Chrysler, but the company says this year’s recall numbers aren’t unusually high.
Concerned owners can call 800-853-1403 for more information.

I really wonder how these recalls r gonna affect sales......Hertz & Avis renters can prolly look 4ward 2 renting alot of these in the near future!!
Both cars will not sell well anyway because they look like crap. Whats with the pilothouse on the Sebring?
The Fusion has been out for two years and hasn't even had 1 recall, while the Sebring/Avenger is on it's second in less than 6 months of life. No wonder why Daimler dropped them.
Is there anybody on quality control at Chrysler? I know that all other carmakers have recalls, its envitable, but dang.
Aren't they about to go on a strike too?
As far as I can tell, some posters are about 13 years old or did not graduate high school. New models always seem to have "bugs", some more than others. Best advise is to let a few months of production go by before purchasing one. Hey, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This is starting to grow on me...looks like a squashed Pacifica but that is not a bad thing...
