Mitsubishi Double Shotz Concept

Doubleshot500

Hot Wheels had a design challenge to get automakers to sign off on future toys. A number of companies stood up to the task, and Mitsubishi delivered a radical-looking concept that we hope ends up on toy store shelves soon. The Double Shotz features two engines — hence the name — each borrowed from the new Lancer Evo. Unfortunately, this concept is just a large model and not a full-fledged show car. Still, it looks like something that would even impress Speed Racer. More photos below.

Keep up the faith Mitsubishi, you have as much or more technology, design expertise, and likeable products as your more famous imported competitors...but America still seems oblivious to it.Personally,I would far rather buy a new/used Mitsu than a Toyota or Honda (or Korean),my past success with your products have sold me on Mitsu. This concept only proves once again that the three diamond company still can pull off a design powerhouse.

Lol, the three diamond company?

It is ONE diamond and two trapezoids. And no, there is no way you can interpret a trapezoid as a diamond so don't even try.

And maybe Mitsu's were good because they were related to DaimlerChrysler for so long. And true, the top Japs and the Koreans are far of the same quality except they are several thousand times more boring

I've long suspected that when car designers get passed over for promotions (or concepts) they sell their designs to HotWheels just so they can get "their" car made.

It's a passion with these guys.

I was impressed at first but when I saw it from the back,,,, Whoa Momma! It's like a 2/3rds GT40.

forget the front engine, just put the mill in the back and release it with the Evo's AWD system.

In fact,,,,EVO Coupe GT, has a nice ring to it doesn't it?

Very interesting! Can you please give more information about it?
