Video: 2008 Infiniti EX35

Above is the first of two videos we recently shot of Infiniti’s entry in the luxury compact-SUV market, the EX35. Kelsey Mays walks you through the styling and interior features of the company’s answer to the BMW X3 and Acura RDX. We’ll be following up with a video on the car’s tech features, including the around-view monitor and lane departure correction system, as well as some initial thoughts from our reviewers. Enjoy.

It doesn't come with standard leather seats? So hopefully not cloth, but maybe like leatherette? Hopefully not vinyl.

Nope. Cloth is in the base model; leather is in the uplevel Journey trim. There's also a "premium leather" option.

I'm torn on the optional power steering wheel and rear seats. It's a nice feature, but it appears to take a long time to move them. If I was in a hurry, I'd want my damn steering wheel to move faster. But, then again, I don't want someone to get into my new Infiniti and mutter, "You didn't get the power tilt? What the...you cheap ass" And so on.
