Hyundai Genesis Concept Sketch, Real Thing Coming to L.A.

Hyundaisketch1

Hyundai’s new rear-wheel-drive two-door is far from a secret, but the company is keeping tight-lipped about many of the details. These “exaggerated” sketches of the concept car tease the car’s public debut at the L.A. Auto Show in a few weeks. Hyundai says the concept “hints” at the real thing we’ll see at dealerships late in 2008 or early in 2009.

looks pretty cool, but it'll just be so watered down if it ever gets produced ... the Tiburon, though it never seemed exciting, was supposed to be a good deal and decent performance. i was quite impressed with how well the latest Sonata turned out. this sportster just might be the answer to to Celicas and Si's -- RWD, take THAT! waiting with bated breath ...

oh, is this thing supposed to get a 3.8L V6? so when is the Supra coming back ... Nissan must really be enjoying the lack of competition from Japan in this market right? personal preference would be the RX-8 even though it's a slightly slower, much better handling car. not biased at all. ;)

Ever since the first HCD concept I've liked Hyundai's coupes.

RWD at last! Wow.

I like the current Tiburon too, I just don't know if I can live with it.

The supra will not come back because of the price. Why pay that much for a toyota when you can get a real car at BMW for about the same. The Nissan is not practical in useablity or price whichs makes the v6 tiberon a good choice.

I love my TIBURON. This my second 2003 Tiburon and it runs just as great as the first day I bought it...can't waite for 2008!!!
