And Now ... Cars.com's New Video Player

Videoplayer310

We’ve been making videos at Cars.com for a while now and most of you are familiar with them via YouTube. Of course we were just building a buzz while our official Cars.com video player was under construction. Now, you can check out higher resolution versions of our videos there including the new Honda Accord sedan and coupe, Cadillac CTS and Toyota Highlander. Don’t forget, you can still check out the hundreds of videos from our friends at MotorWeek.

Your new video player has sharper image quality; however, the streaming was super slow. Also, I always find viewing video ads prior to the actual video I want to see extremely annoying. Oh, that’s how you get paid.

Ken,
How slow is it for you? Using IE or FF?
Thanks.

Dave,

I'm using Firefox. The video is slower than YouTube, but sharper. It seems to pause and buffer every couple of seconds. It gets worse and the video plays along.

I meant, "It gets worse towards the middle of the video." It becomes unbearable.
