Two Reasons to Stay Up Late Tonight
Yep, a certain company is releasing information about an all-new version of its perennial best-seller. We won’t reveal anything about which company it is or which vehicle you’ll be seeing, but we will say there will be two separate posts here at midnight tonight, with plenty of photos to peruse. Not only that, you’ll be able to buy the cars fairly soon.

My guess is.... Honda Accord.
My bet is that it is the new Corrolla.
Interesting thought regarding the Toyota Corolla, however, there has been almost no spy photos of the Corolla.
On the other hand, the Accord has had much speculation, photos and general press...
I would much prefer to see the Porsche Panemera, but that's too much to ask.
Aldo,
At least the Porsche will be unveiled by mid-september at frankfurt if not before.
You are very right. And the fact that there are going to be two seperate posts sounds like they may be doing the coupe and sedan seperatly. If it is the Accord, I hope it looks better than the spy shot that I have seen. :)
It will be the Honda Accord. One release for the sedan. One release for the couple. Should be interesting. Hope it is better than the spy photos, cause I want a new car and so far haven't seen anything I really like other than Porsche, Audi, etc. and I can't afford that.
To my buddy aldoe....
I'm gonna take a daring stab and say either the Dodge Ram or Ford F-150.
At any rate, I'll be staying up late tonight. It's not like I have to get a lot of sleep. I'm off tomorrow.
perhaps the corolla and the corolla wagon.
For some reasons, my sixth sense is telling me that is not the Accord.
And I am thinking of it as a Domestic brand.
The F-150 is a good guess, but they just redesigned it in 2004. Maybe the 300? Hm, maybe a bit earlier than the F-150 to be redesigned.
Could I be wrong and it is in fact the Mazda 6 Sedan and 5-door hatchback?
It could also be the Impala, since there were rumors that GM will make the next Impala a FR.
dartvader,
That is a good guess, thanks for the hint.
It could be the Corolla and the Matrix.
But I just went to Toyota's website, the 08 Matrix is the same old one.
I'm also going to vote Honda Accord. Honda had the concept Accord Coupe this year, and the Accord is expected to be redesigned for 2008.
This definitely has 08 Accord written all over it - coupe and sedan. Finally we'll have some hard specs to play with. Wonder how it'll stack up to the Camry & Altima? 3 hours left.
Bah... I'll read this in the morning and value my sleep...
I'd say it's the Accord.
The Corolla is not Toyota's bestseller... I think... Staying past 9pm makes my brain befuddled... (I'm pretty sure befuddled is a real word, but I may be wrong)
i say its the all new honda accord.
other sites have broken the embargo and it's the accord. http://www.thecarconnection.com/index.asp?DID=RSS&n=180&sid=180&article=13263
not bad looking
If it is the Accord, it is a disappointment on the outside. It screams Chrysler Sebring with those lines up the side. The interior is busy, but I am sure it will be well put together.
The Accord sedan reminds me of what a "Lexified" Sonata would look like. Honda appears to have another winner on it's hands.
I agree with the Lexified comment above and I can see the Acura TL influence in the new Accord. I think the new Honda Accord coupe and sedan hit a home run in the design department.
eh...
Someone please tell me this is a nightmare.
The Sedan looks like a Sonata.
The Coupe looks okay...
You could actually get pics of the new corolla on wikipedia or globalautoindex.com. These are the Japanese versions but, I don't think there would be much of a difference
I'm gonna have to also say that it looks to have a few Sonata cues. I have to say that I think I like the old one a bit better, although this is undoubtedly a nice car.
we have the official photos and release info up now. just click on the Kicking Tires banner.
Please don't jump the gun or post unofficial images on our site you'll just get it deleted. that's not how we do it here. We'll also have a full review of the new accord up tomorrow.
