Your Date Drives What?! Part II
Yesterday we got to hear what men thought about which cars a potential date might drive. Today, the fairer sex gets a turn. Cars.com interns Lindsay Bjerregaard and Alex Braun talked to a number of women on Chicago’s streets to find out what a car says about a date. Above is the video reaction of women to cars like a Mini Cooper, Mazda Miata and Hummer H2. You’d be surprised what gets a positive reaction. Let us know what you would have said in the comments.

Hmmm, I happen to be a single guy in my twenties interested in owning a Caravan. I want something economical that can haul sheets of plywood. I'm also considering a used hearse for this purpose. Which one would freak out the ladies the least? Do any ladies read this blog?
I'd like to see some same gender reactions; I'm sure guys have a completely different opinion of dudes in Miatas.
These women seem to be more stereotype-minded than the men, but then again, they had different cars than the men.

The reactions we saw were pretty typical I think. Hummer is thought to be the overcompensating car, Prius is (falsely) thought to be saving the earth (not even possible).
Was surprised by the Miata responses. Maybe the women do not know how small of car it is, but while fun to drive in a silly sort of way, its definitely not a car that they'd put out for (its not as expensive as they think).
Who cares what guys think about Miatas? They've been chick magnets since day one. Get a small, cute dog and drive around with it in the Miata and you're a force to be reckoned with.
All women really care about is if you have a lot of money.
It's funny how women are picky about their men, but not picky when it comes to eating moderate portions of healthy food.

Oh man,,, I NEVER want to hear another woman complain about how men are only interested in looks!
Still (like the men's clip) I'm disapointed in the lack of showing older cars to the people.
Would men be attracted to a girl who drives a vintage Camaro? How do women feel about guys who drive old Jeeps?
Funny thing is, my 69 Datsun 2000 (which I had in the late 90s) attracted more men then women. So even if it's a roadster, most women won't care unless it's new and expensive.
