V-8 BBQ Grill

Ahhh summer, the season of BBQ and hot rodding. Well, at least BBQ. For those who want to mix some auto fun with their ribs and burgers, check out this custom grill by Trent Whatley and Terry Bacon. Obviously, the two are car fanatics and put some love into this Chevy V-8 engine block BBQ grill. The duo hasn’t made plans to start mass-producing it, but say it attracted quite a few stares at a local car show.

Saw this on some other site, and it made me smile. Oh, the taste of grilled meat with a side of motor oil...

I really want to get one of these for a good friend of mine! He saw the pics and fell in love with it. If someone were to take this design and mass produce a grill that looks like this economically it would not have to be made out of an actual engine just look like it was. It would sell like hot cakes. Do these guys have a patent on the thing?
