Commutes Can Kill

Pollutedcommute

Forbes has crafted a list of the deadliest commutes in the country, and it’s gone beyond just accident data. The list includes drive time and the amount of air pollution and combines those stats with the number of fatal accidents, making for a trio of things we’d rather not think about when commuting.

Pollution is probably the biggest surprise here, but Forbes said that 50% of a person’s exposure to ultrafine particulate matter from pollution comes during a commute.

The list of the 25 most dangerous commutes is below. Reminder to self: Don’t send resume to any companies in Riverside, Calif.

Yeah, but Chicago's not far behind at #7.

I started my career at #19, then moved on to # 14b, now I'm in 17. Two total rear enders and I'm still walking this plane.

I'd be thinking people living around #23a would rank it a lot higher right about now.
