Cars.com Reviews the 2007 Kia Amanti

Kia’s take on the Jaguar S-Type brings a lot to the wannabe-luxury segment, and according to Cars.com reviewer Kelsey Mays it takes on heavyweights like the Toyota Avalon and Chrysler 300, at least based on value. Why would anyone buy a Kia for 30K over a 300C which starts at 25K its just a rediculous price for a cheap quality Korean vehicle.

Seems like a pretty well rounded car, but I agree that I'd have doubts about spending $30k on it.

The lack of rear parking assists sensors seems really strange, since they are offered here in Korea. In fact, every Korean car has them, all the way down to the Kia Rio and the little jelly bean cars that are even smaller than the Rio (the Koreans really only look straight ahead when they drive, regardless of whether they are changing lanes, turning, pulling out into traffic, or going in reverse). I'm not sure why they are left off the Kia Amanti for the U.S....
