Nissan Prices 2007 Nismo 350Z

2007nismo350z0613

The Ford Mustang isn’t the only sports car with gussied-up, high-performance trims. The 2007 Nissan Nismo 350Z was introduced at this year’s New York auto show with its over-the-top body kit, beefed-up suspension and bigger brakes. Now the price for all that is known: $38,070.

The top-of-the-line Grand Touring 350Z starts at $36,100, so the price bump to $38,070 doesn’t seem that bad. Dealers are taking orders as of today. Let us know if you’re one of the people heading in to put your name to paper for one of these, and why.

Looks like the Z is heading into Boxster and Elise(Exige) territory.
I just don't see why would anyone other than NISMO fans would put out that much money to buy this instead of a STI or Evo.
The price to take out the backseats, maybe?

I have one ordered in Silver Alloy.

The Grand Touring 350Z at 36K includes nav, right? But, what about the Nizmo?

Bowrider, if you wanna know what & why the Nismo Z is for, re-read 1 of the earlier articles from this blog, or go directly to Nissan's website for more info...and this should also answer your question too, J. This is a "Track-ready" Nismo Z. it's tuned for race track use, meaning that if you wanna "race" it on a track, u'll see the STI or the EVO (stock version) in ur rear view mirror. The only thing that you want to invest ur $$$ is the engine in the Nismo Z. It will also LACK many of the luxorious features that are std in the "regular" Z. Anyhow, to conclude, this is a race track ready version. If u wanna race your vehicle on a straigh raod + stop lights, then this really isn't meant to be 4 ya, but more like the other versions like the Touring; if, otoh, drives this on a race track frequently...welcome, and you've made a wise choice,

I just got mine last night :) Silver Alloy and I must say it's going to be very hard to break this baby in gently. It's first stretch was 200 miles and it went by rather nicely! I had originally planned on a 427R Mustang, but one test drive in this was all it took, I signed and brought it home. Forget the Nav and Ipod jacks, this cars focus is on PERFORMANCE! (for those who asked) and perform it does. Considering the price range of similar cars, I don't see how you can beat it.

Way to go Nissan :)
