2008 Range Rover Gets New Armrest

Armrest

We’ll admit, we couldn’t find anything really engaging to write about the 2008 Land Rover Range Rover. When all the company can come up with is a redesigned rear armrest — with more storage! — we’re not going to jump for joy. That’s not to say there was much wrong with the 2007 version, we just had to put something in the headline.

The 2008 Range Rover will also get four-zone climate control, which is a significant addition. There are also more interior wood grains to choose from, a new interior color called Storm and two new exterior colors, Alaska White and Lucerne Green. If you’re still interested, we have a nice batch of photos below to check out that will tide you over until the new models arrive later this year.

This is a total non-story. Why even bother? Is there really nothing left to write about?

Toyota released prices for the 2008 Corolla, and incredible sales figures for May (Camry's selling at an annualized rate of 600,000). Come on guys.

This blog was so easy a "caveman" could have done it...

Jay and LM,
This post is for levity.

That was kind of the point of the post. Prices for the 08 corolla were virtually unchanged as was the model, but is a virtually unchanged corolla as funny as a virtually unchanged Range Rover with a better armrest?

LM, this site is called cars.com- just in case you confused it with Toyota.com.

This is not true. As the 2008 Range Rovers that were released in August of this past year, did not have the 4 zone airconditioning, as well as no revised graphics, and no special glass.

Thus, the ONLY thing the new 2008 Range Rovers got were the new rear armrest. What BS. As how can they get away with this false advertising.

Good luck. Alex

False advertising from Land Rover
The 2008 Range Rover does not have any changes from 2007 to 2008. They said that the vehicles would change - but they did not include any of the changes on the SUV's.
