I traded in my 2005 Sebring Touring for this 2008 Sebring Limited convertible. I do not like the hard top so had great difficulty locating soft top. Just personal preference.
Chrysler has gone all out and I must say that the 3.5 liter engine as in the limited is a must. Has acceleration and gets out of the way and is paired to a 6 speed automatic. Other engines are too anemic. This is not a finely tuned car like a BMW, but now it is a lot of fun to drive eveywhere.
Inside is a little austere and basically made of plastic. However, for the money, this is a well designed and engineered car - steers weel now and hold . The issue of engine size must be dealt with prior to purchase.
This is an excellent value and I would recommend either the Limited or the Touring with the 3.5 package and 18 inch wheels package - interior is not as nice, but fine for the price
The lines of the car would be nice except for the ugly Euro style antennae stuck in the middle of the trunk and the off center trunk lock on the polished portion of the rear deck. (Older models had it off center but it was not recessed and din't throw off the balance of other items now on this back section.
Designers responsible for these mistakes should be exiled to designing Peugots.
