I was pegged with the difficult task of naming the top 10 cars that cost more than $100,000. Believe it or not, the $100,000-and-up crowd is a growing segment in the automotive industry, with Porsche, BMW and Aston Martin adding new six-figure models to their lineups in the next few years. Check out the full list and let us know what you think we got right or wrong in the comments below.

How can the S600 be better than the S65 AMG? It’s the same car ratcheted up from outlandish to ludicrous: 604 hp, 738 ft-lb, and it even gets better mileage than the S600.

I may have to put the Panoz Esperante GTLM on my list: primarily for the esoteric appeal and exclusivity. That’s a car that would virtually NEVER be recognized. You get to feel so superior to the unwashed masses who can’t even pronounce the name right. It also has a legitimate racing connection, albeit not a prominent one.

The Bugatti Veyron shouldn't be left out. But then I suppose that would be on the Top 10 $1,000,000 Cars list.
