As the day approaches when the all-new Saturn Vue will go on sale near the end of this month, we’ve gotten more information on it, including new photos of a Sunburst Orange XR model as well as full specs on the SUV.

We’ll bring you more information in the weeks ahead, as we’re unfortunately not allowed to discuss how the new SUV rides or handles until May 25.

I like it. Now, give it a manual transmission, AWD and close to 30mpg and they have a winner. fun to drive would be nice too, make it as reliable as the sun as well. Then it's a replacement for the last gen RAV4 that Toyota decided not to build anymore.

LM

Hmm, checked the specs, this thing lost my vote.

Jay

Hmmm, why??

Well its a nice suv. Its cheap, reliable, but there's nothing about the suv that catches my eye. Actually, to tell you the truth, it looks cheap, but its futuristic styling and detailing make it look better. It almost looks exactly like the bigger Saturn Outlook, except it has a weird ''nissan like'' back end. I would definately recommend it to teenagers that want an suv at a more affordable price, but they'd be dissapointed to find out that its more of a ''CrossOver'' than an suv. After looking at the pictures, and at the specs, Im kind of dissapointed at how they've restyled the vehicle 3 times within the last 4 years or so and they still havent come out with a proper design that would put them at the head of the game with the rest of their competitors like the RAV4 and the CR-V. Overall, I guess its a good everyday suv, but Saturn is gonna need to do something to or put something into this suv to bring it the spot light. =]

I've seen a couple of Opel Antara's here in Germany, basically the same vehicle. They r ok but nothing exciting to me. I prefer the Astra hardtop convertible(which the USA isn't getting).

To Sean C: A teenager? Really? I wish I got a $20k+ car when I was a teenager. What's with parents these days anyway. How about a 10 year old civic, that's what a teenager should be driving.

matt

I'm a teenager and I got an 18 year old civic!

Panic

I don't recall Saturn redesigning the Vue even once, other that a new grill and fascia once and the interior once. It is the same vehicle in 2007 than it was in 2002 (looks wise).

Mike

I'd have to agree with LM about this. Being a teen, I'd only wish my parents could drop 20K+ for a new car, let alone an SUV (not that I want one). But I'm glad I have a car to begin with, and yeah, I do drive a ten year-old Civic...

Dan

First car was older than I was. I think this is a mistake that automakers make. They really think that young people are buying new for their first cars. Not true at all. People would rather have a nice but slightly used car than a new car that doesn't have the things they want.

Not bad looking, Saturn's "Europization" is progressing nicely, they now have a line up that makes you take notice instead of putting you to sleep. This is 10,000x better than the previous gen Vue. Still, after looking at the specs, I am more than happy with my '07 Santa Fe Limited, which IMHO looks better inside and out, has more room, and is a better value for what you get than the Vue.

There seems to be a slight discrepancy in the HP numbers I am seeing. Another automotive site (starts with Ed, ends in munds) just did a "full test" and they list the 3.6 HP as 257. The specs here list it as 245. Did they magically coax another 12 HP from their tester, or what gives?
