Cars.com Reviews 2007 Hyundai Veracruz

2007hyundaiveracruz0425

Mike Hanley just turned in his full report on Hyundai’s first full-size crossover, the Veracruz. He tested a number of trim levels and stacks it up against major players in the segment, like the Saturn Outlook and Mazda CX-9. We’re all a bit amazed at how quickly the segment is growing and how many substantial vehicles there are to choose from.

Kudos for Hyundai for finally making a car that looks different (and really cool at that)

looks different? I see a Buick Rendezvous - or any of those other big fat wagons.

the crossover - a tall ugly station wagon that makes minivan drivers think they look cool.

plz can u give me more details about this car bcus i will like to buy it thaks

Looks like a big CRV to me. Both are butt ugly.

looks like 1990s trash

Lets see this looks like a Buick Rendezvous... Please the Rendezvous is a glorified Aztek. Its horrible. This vehicle has nice lines and curves. Everyone bashes Hyundais. Well let me tell you they are not cheap pieces of s#$t anymore. Go out and test drive the vehicle before you say nasty comments about it. I own a Saab and a Volvo and I am still impressed with Hyundai's new looks and quality.

The engineering behind their vehicles is top notch. Normal maintenance items like belts, hoses, cv axles etc... seem to wear out quicker than other cars I've owned. Yes, I've owned Hyundai. IMO they cost less becuase they use cheaper parts. The engineering is on par with the best though.

I purchased a 2007 Veracruz Limited on May 1st. Just put on 1000 miles. This crossover is one fabulous vehicle! I have owned so many cars, including Lincoln, Volvo, Nissan Altima, Chevy, Oldsmobile and Honda. My Veracruz is by far my favorite, so far. My neighbor just purchased a Lexus RX 350. I think the Veracruz is so much more for the money. Photos do not do this vehicle justice. Truly an attractive automobile. I notice that this car improves as a drive it more and more. A Smart Purchase!!!
