Cars.com Review and Photo Gallery: 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer

Lancer270

Yesterday I posted my full review of the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer. I thought the redesign was a complete success from both a design standpoint as well as how the car drives. Check out the full review here.

Since this is such a highly anticipated model, though, I know you'll appreciate having even more up-close shots of the car here on the blog. Keep reading below for a large photo gallery of exterior and interior shots, including real-world grocery and airport runs.

Pretty sure they made the rear look like the Lexus IS.

Thanks Dave,

If Subaru keeps the new WRX design for it's STI (think it's going to) my mind is made up for which one I'd like to have. The point is moo(Joey from Friends anybody?) though because I wouldn't have the loot for the sti or evo. Nice Lancer though.

Its funny, the old evo was all about power not looks.
The new non-evo Lancer is all about looks (although it's a really good daily driver).
The new evo should have both. I honestly wouldn't want it to look too much different than the GTS, just with some kind of hood scoop.

I was really smitten by the new Impreza at the NY Auto show - I don't think the pictures I saw beforehand really does it justice. It's well proportioned and smooth looking.

This is without a doubt the best looking small sedan EVER!

LM

The Lexus IS is a small sedan and has this whooped in the "best looking small sedan EVER!" category.

I also think the Mazda3 looks better.

J

Please tell me you were joking when saying that the Lancer is the best looking small sedan ever.

I personally think that the Acura CSX(Yep, CSX, no typo) looks much better than it.

Dan

I really feel that I should be excited by this, but I'm just not.

It's sad when a car company tries so hard to climb back up,but gets hammered by ignorance like this. You shouldnt have been loaned a car!
