Great Car Faceoff: Day 3 Update

Gcftahoe

The votes for the SUVs/Minivans brackets have been tabulated, and in a not-so-surprising result, it seems the domestics have a clean sweep of the matchups except for the one bracket where two imports squared off. The strangest result was the Honda CR-V losing to the outgoing Saturn Vue. It’s strange because the CR-V is one of the most popular vehicles on the entire Cars.com site, yet it couldn’t seem to get by the Vue. The same goes for the RAV4 versus the Ford Escape, although at least Ford sells a lot of Escapes.

Like lucky Ohio State fans, we move on. Today’s bracket focuses on pickups and Luxury SUVs. This should bring out the most ardent voting so far with pickups being a traditional battleground for online (and humorous window decal) disagreement.

"This should bring out the most ardent voting so far "

I thought that already happened with the Crown Vic.

The Crown Vic... if we only had more Crown Vics....

Don't forget, the Crown Vic faces off against the Mini Cooper on Wednesday. I won't dare to predict how *that* one turns out.

SecretSquirrel

It will turn out the same way a head on collision of those 2 cars would turn out.

The Crown Vic should win everything. Look at all the buzz it's created!

Dave,
I hope this will not be last comment over here.

The CR-V and RAV4 got chewed off because of basically the same way as the Camry did.

And thanks for FINALLY finding the fix of the voting glitch after 2 days of illegit results.

Is it just me, or does it look like Fords are going to win everything?

HOW COULD THE Cadillac Escalade WIN OVER THE Range Rover?!?!?!?!?!?!?!.

SecretSquirrel

Range Rovers have the worst reliability and the highest rapair rates and costs. It doesn't surprise me a bit that it was owned by the Caddy.
