The Camaro Concept Transformer
Many on our staff grew up with the original Transformers cartoons of the 1980s. We might even say that seeing a robot turn into a Porsche 935 helped to shape our love of cars. Hollywood is betting on that nostalgia with a live-action blockbuster coming this summer, directed by none other than Michael Bay (“Armageddon,” “The Rock”). Like the TV show, the Transformers movie is spinning off toys that transform, and one of them — Bumblebee — is based on the new Camaro concept. The Camaro will go on sale sometime in early 2009 but the toy will be available relatively soon. Keep reading to see Bumbleebee’s robot look.

Didn't Dodge offer a Bumble-Bee package on its cars years ago? Yellow paint, black decals, etc.? Think Dodge may take issue with GM using this concept on their Camaro?
BTW, wish my car could do this. If I get stuck in a traffic jam, I'll just WALK out of it, or blast everyone out of the way.

originally Bumblebee was a VW Bug. which made more sense. With the new movie featuring lots of guns VW didn't want to be associated with such violence so they went with the Camaro.
there was a Dodge Coronet Super Bee and the new charger has a dress-up kit for one too. There's also a Rumble Bee on the recent Ram truck

dodge doesn't own the word "bee" so they will get over it

The movie will be great. And better if there is a Chevy Camaro in it.
Eager to see the Camaro / Mustang battle.
