2007 Chicago Auto Show: 2008 Scion xD

Scionxd1

We only have a few images of one of the two new Scions that will be introduced tomorrow, but we figured we’d bring you what we have today, along with Kelsey Mays’ full report on the all-new xD — Scion’s replacement for its xA subcompact hatchback.

The xD comes with an improved 128-hp four-cylinder engine that should deliver 30+ mpg in combined driving. It also comes with 16-inch wheels, and six airbags are standard. More to come from the show floor tomorrow.

i didn't think it could get any worse than the Xa.. damn! In the second pic it looks like the Xd is close in size and look to the Xb. Why even bother with the Xd..

The xD and new xB both have huge C-pillar blind spots. Why is Toyota intent on doing this on every new model? The Highlander, Tundra, FJ Cruiser, xD, and xB all have this "feature."

I would love to see it side by side with the xB. Anyone have any idea what the pricing is going to be ? Im pretty sure scion plans on increasing the prices compared to last year with all the new improvements.
