2007 Chicago Auto Show: 2008 Nissan Pathfinder

2008nissanpathfinder

The big news for the revised 2008 Nissan Pathfinder lies within the cabin and under the hood. Powering the updated Pathfinder is an optional 300-plus-hp, 5.6-liter V-8 engine that will be offered in addition to the standard 266-hp V-6 that currently sees duty in so many of Nissan’s vehicles.

The interior gets a new center stack, a navigation system and a hard-drive based entertainment system. If you look closely at the outside you’ll notice a revised grille and slight changes to the front and back ends. We’ll learn more about availability next week during the Chicago Auto Show’s media days.

So go walk your @ss onto Mind of Mencia and have him ring your @ss out for being "dee-dee-dee"

Will there be an infiniti version of this like there was in 2002? I like the infiniti better because it is more upscale and better quality.

Offering the V8 on the Pathfinder is a good thing, some of us don't need the Armada's size, but need the power...
However, with gas price like now, doesn't this kills of the Armada even faster?

I guess this is positioned to compete with the 4Runner, now that it has a V8. But I dunno, I always saw the Pathfinder as a bit more of a smaller, more agile SUV than this latest version. Plus, I really don't even like the looks of this one anymore.

The present model uses the Nissan F-Alpha platform and is available in two different models like- 4.0 liter V6 VQ40DE that produce 200 kilo watts of power and the 2.5 liter Turbo Diesel I4 engine that produce 130 kilo watts of power.
